I’ve had a long fascination with wood. I am awed by its grain, texture, density and figuring. Wood is a gift of nature; art unaided. By utilizing stains, dyes and finishes, I take great pleasure in revealing its beauty. I use wood to create shapes and patterns, using the lines around us as inspiration. I strategically create depth and a bold new perspective on architecture, nature’s landscapes and the human form.

I began creating art about 6 years ago. I have Exhibited regionally and won awards through the Wisconsin Regional Art program, Mary Hoard Museum and Wausau Center for Visual Arts. I currently am the Awards Chair for the Association of Wisconsin Artists.
